For the design of this series, I chose three unrelated books based on the theme of rage. In order to ensure a consistent visual language, I chose to use the main letter from each of the titles as a container to pay homage to the victims of rage in each book. Each character interacts with the letterform, disappearing behind the counterforms and jutting out to complete the letter. The images are each treated with darker tones to allude to the somber nature of their story.
