About This Project

The goal of this project is to create a fresh, new visual identity that communicates the narrative of the brand. Sensor Products has one foot in technology and the other foot firmly in engineering. The logo concepts reference its best-selling product, tactile surface pressure mapping film, which has microcapsules that burst and change color on contact, indicating the level of pressure applied. This film is placed between two contacting surfaces and pressure is applied to create this burst of color. Red was also chosen as a reference to this product, and to maintain brand recognition. Contact pressure is the constant of all offered products across retail and R&D applications, and maintained in the iterations of logo concepts.
